Vice-Dean in charge of Studies and Student Affairs
Preamble
The Vice-Dean in charge of Studies and Student Affairs occupies a central position within the faculty. He/she ensures coordination between students, departments, the registrar’s office, the dean, and the heads of academic fields, particularly in the context of evaluating courses and programs.
In a context marked by the increasing number of students and the diversification of training programs to better meet the demands of an ever-evolving job market, this role requires strong adaptability as well as smooth and effective communication with all university stakeholders.
Committed to a dynamic of continuous improvement, we work closely with the university community to ensure quality service, provide fast and accurate dissemination of information, and support students throughout their academic journey, while ensuring compliance with current regulations.
Missions of the Vice-Dean
Within the framework of his/her responsibilities, the Vice-Dean in charge of Studies and Student Affairs undertakes the following missions:
Administrative management: Supervision and follow-up of undergraduate student registrations.
Pedagogical supervision: Monitoring the conduct of courses and proposing improvement measures to the Dean.
Student data management: Keeping the nominative and statistical records of students.
Information and guidance: Collecting, processing, and disseminating pedagogical information for the benefit of students.
